A new stealth DLP vendor emerges – MIND

MIND™, a data loss prevention (DLP) startup, has emerged from stealth, announcing its AI-driven platform designed to protect sensitive data. Backed by $11 million in seed funding from YL Ventures and other cybersecurity leaders, MIND aims to revolutionize DLP by addressing the growing complexity and volume of data, especially unstructured data containing confidential information. Unlike traditional DLP solutions, MIND’s platform autonomously identifies, monitors, and prevents data leaks across multiple IT environments, including SaaS, on-premises, and AI applications, significantly reducing false alerts and resource demands.

Founded by cybersecurity veterans, including Eran Barak (CEO), Itai Schwartz (CTO), and Hod Bin Noon (VP of R&D), the Seattle-based company combines advanced AI, risk assessment, and automation to continuously secure data at rest, in motion, and in use. MIND’s comprehensive approach has garnered praise from industry leaders like Justin Somaini of YL Ventures and Ryan Fritts of Everon, positioning the company to lead the DLP market in the face of evolving cyber threats.
